Mentors

​

Your primary goal will be to develop a relationship with your mentee and provide support, guidance, friendship, positive interaction, and accountability. 

Time requirement: 4-8 hours per month

 

Mentor Responsibilities:

• Assist mentee with goal-setting using our worksheets, and identify services that would benefit them. 

• Meet with mentee biweekly. Correspondence can be in person, on the phone, over email, Google Meet, etc. This is about what you and your mentee are comfortable with.

• Be an active listener and offer support and encouragement when appropriate. 

• Follow documentation guidelines for monitoring progress.

• At least one year 

 

Requirements:

• 18+ years

• Background check 

• Maintain confidentiality of participants. 

• Willingness to provide emotional, social, and practical support within limits.  

• Knowledge of one’s boundaries and ability to set limits with others.

• Participate in appropriate training

Specialized Support

​

You will work with the mentor to provide support in your area of expertise. Time requirement dependent on service and individual need. Examples of professionals that could help include:

• Lawyers

• Financial professionals

• Social workers or those familiar with government benefits.

Depending on the service and case, compensation may be an option. 

 

 

Health & Wellness Practitioners

 

Specialists desired include, but not limited to, those trained in yoga therapy, Feldenkrais, acupuncture, physical therapy, or nutrition. Potential to grow into a paid role as we grow.

 

Time requirement: 4-8 hours per month

 

How you can help:

• Monthly or weekly classes

• Telehealth appointments

• Individual treatment sessions at your clinic, or a partner clinic

• Rent us space/room in your clinic

 

Responsibilities:

• Commit to 4 sessions per patient

• Follow our documentation protocol, as well as any industry standards.

 

Requirements:

• Background check 

• Maintain confidentiality of participants. 

• Carry personal liability insurance

• Licensed/certified in your profession

• Have your own equipment, if applicable
