What You Might Teach

We are actively looking for leaders in:

• Budgeting & personal finance

• Renting, leases, and housing

• Career development & interviewing

• Workplace communication

• Healthcare navigation

• Mental health & self-advocacy

• Cooking & nutrition

• Transportation & life logistics

 

 

What Leading a Course Looks Like

• 1–2 sessions per course (60–90 min each)

• Small group format (10–15 participants)

• We provide curriculum + materials

• You bring your experience and perspective

 

 

Time Commitment

As little as 2–4 hours per month

 

 

Who You Are

You might be:

• A working professional

• A tradesperson

• A healthcare provider

• A manager or business owner

• Someone with lived experience

If you’ve learned something the hard way—you can teach it.

 

 

Why It Matters

Many young adults aging out of foster care:

• Don’t have someone to call for advice

• Haven’t been taught everyday life skills

• Are expected to figure it out alone

You can change that—in a single session.
